Jenny Blackburn, founder

An expert in usability research and user-centered design, Jenny Blackburn has a ten year track record working with industry-leading companies to create user-centered programs that are effective, efficient, and that map directly to business goals.

She strongly believes that the best research is the research that, when acted on, has a positive impact on the user experience. She approaches each research challenge with a unique blend of pragmatism, creativity, and rigor.

Jenny is passionate about user-centered methods and the impact that they can have and loves sharing this passion with others. She is a part-time lecturer at the UW, teaching advanced courses in the Human-centered Design and Engineering school. And she is a consulting instructor for an international usability certification organization.

When Jenny isn’t focused on usability, she enjoys experimenting with social media, exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband and son, and reading anything she can get her hands on.
